1) Install the Downloader App

  1. Head to the Amazon Appstore on your Firestick, search for Downloader (by AFTVnews), and hit Get or Download.
  2. Can’t find it? Browse to the Utilities category in the Appstore and install it from there.

Downloader is a trusted tool that lets you enter a code or URL to grab the Strong 8K or Strong 4K app.

2) Allow Apps from Unknown Sources

  1. Go to Settings → My Fire TV (or Device & Software) → Developer Options.
  2. Find Install Unknown Apps (or Apps from Unknown Sources on older Firesticks) and switch Downloader to ON.
  3. No Developer Options? Navigate to Settings → My Fire TV → About, highlight your device name, and press Select 7 times to unlock it. Then enable Downloader.

Fix Common Issues

  • Downloader not in Appstore? Check the Utilities section or install it from Amazon’s website on your phone/PC and send it to your Firestick.
  • No Developer Options? Go to Settings → My Fire TV → About, select your device name 7 times to unlock them.
  • Buffering problems? Switch to 5GHz Wi-Fi or use an Ethernet adapter. Try our recommended hosts from the Downloads page and avoid high-latency VPNs.
  • EPG not showing? Enter your provider’s XMLTV/EPG URL in the app’s settings.
